Filler silo for materials with short staple (polyester, feather, foam rubber, mixtures, etc.)
It is a silo linked together with one or two filler machines with electronical weighing.
The cylindrical shaped silos has got a capacity of 3 mc.
The weighing (obtained by a loading cell) and the pillow filling take place in two separated containers. Thanks to this feature, there isn't any stand still and is possible to accomplish the operation of silos filling, weighing and pillow filling at the same time.
The loading cell is connected with a electronical display that permits: the memorization of 405 pillows (each of them with 4 chambers), subdivided in 9 groups, for a total of 1620 memorizable weights!
A mixer, in the silo, keeps the material in motion and facilitates its going out.
The command board is separated from the machine for an ideal position during the working.
The filling machine control takes place through a foot control lever, so the operator have the hands free.
The belt speed (used for the weight container) and the slide speed (used for the pillow filling) are automatically regulated by a process controller device that modifies the speed according to the formulated weight improving time.
The whole cycle is controlled by a PLC, so the operator, when he has choosen the weight, has only to push down the foot control lever.
The mixer has "Soft - Start" device for a long life of motor and gearbox.
Electric plant in watertight box (IP 55) with door-lock isolator, telemotorprotector, safety end of stroke and low-tension controls.
The machine is constructed in conformity with the EEC directives EEC/73/23, EEC/89/336, EEC/89/392 and successive modifications and marked CE.
